What is COD4E?
Coding Opportunities Designed for Everyone (COD4E) is an organization founded by two high school students who are advocating for a more diverse and inclusive environment in the field of computer science. We want to promote the idea that anyone, of any gender and race, can learn how to code. We host design-oriented hackathons that engage and interest people in developing apps and games that solve real world problems, regardless of their computer science background. Here at COD4E, we want everyone to enjoy the process of designing, coding, and programming. Through our school club and design-oriented hackathon event, we are striving to create a new image of computer science that welcomes everyone, breaking the stereotype that only a certain group of people can do well in computer science. We truly believe that ANYONE can learn how to program and succeed in the computer science field. |
